One Voice, One Island, One Negros

As Negros Island has been established as one Region, all divisions under the umbrella of Department of Education decided to conduct one memorable activity to foster strong relationship among students and teachers so as with other entities involved. The first Island Negros Environment Camp inculcate environmental principles to all the students to encourage authentic participation in meaningful programs and projects to address predicaments existing in our environment.
The first Island Negros Environment Camp held at Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on February 26-28, 2016 was worthwhile endeavor with the theme: “The voice of the Negrense Youth: Promoting Environmental Awareness, Transforming Local Communities”. Each student should be a steward for environmental transformation from vulnerable condition into stable one by educating individuals on how to protect our mother earth from man made devastation.
