Last August 28, 2015, is the day of the ‘Theme Park Competition’ which was one of the highlights in our “Buwan ng Wika” celebration. Every theme park was well prepared and was beautifully designed by the students with the help of our supportive teachers, altogether with the concern and coordination of the hard working citizens in Basay. We have shown our incredible talents, creativity and a combination of cooperation and lending hands in this competition.
After months of preparation, the theme parks improved. There are many changes can be seen. If you have seen the parks, the first word your mouth could say is, “Wow”. Beautiful decorations and ornaments are displayed; neat and clean environment; objects that have relevance to each park were also present. For example, the Math Park, there were different, small geometric shapes hanging from the cottage and large 3d shapes with equations on it. Rehabilitating the parks is not easy for us; each individual encountered difficulties in improving the park that they represent. However, those impediments never stop us. The motivation to continue is still there, and we did not surrender. Much improvements and beautification made the parks very beautiful and catching to the eye.
t’s already time for the final judging! The judges roamed around and skilfully observed each parks. We can’t help but to feel shivers creeping in our spines. Before we know it, the judging was already done. You can already feel the anticipation and the nervousness fused together in the atmosphere. We are very nervous yet very excited to know who really wins the competition.
Finally, the winners have been announced by the emcee! There are screams to be heard with such delight and triumph when the parks they’ve bet had won. Here are the winners: third placer, the Filipino Park; second placer, the MAPEH Park; and the champion, the Math Park. Trophies and certificates were distributed to the representatives from each park.
We’re very happy because all of our hard works and efforts bear a good fruit.
